The NW Fish Passage Team prepared a preliminary and final design report for Little Carey’s stream and wetland restoration. The team has developed a design that includes moving the existing, incised, channelized stream channel into a future alignment that winds through the forest. We developed a hydrologic and hydraulic 1-D Hydrologic Engineering Center-River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) for existing stream and future alignment. Additionally, the NW Fish Passage team is preparing complete design drawings and cost estimates. We are preparing the Joint Aquatic Resources Permit Application (JARPA) and other permits needed for the implementation of the project.
