Fain Environmental performed a hydrologic and hydraulic assessment for a failing wooden embankment adjacent to the Morganroth Springs wetland. The wooden embankment is located off a tributary of the Bogachiel River that is important for fish passage. We delineated the drainage basin and calculated flows. The analyses informed preliminary and final design alternatives to restore fish passage to the wetland and included an evaluation of fish habitat, natural process restoration, climate change resiliency, maintenance need potential, and cost.
