NW Fish Passage performed internal WSDOT PHD reviews for nine fish passage barriers associated with the I-5/SR 18/SR 161 interchange improvements. NW Fish Passage was specifically selected for these reviews to ensure that the maximum possible benefit to aquatic habitat is being considered. Our team reviewed and edited all PHD sections with special attention paid to large wood placement plan sheets, water crossing design decisions, and geomorphic assessment conclusions for all nine fish passage barriers.
